With oil workers coming into the state from every corner of the country the need to provide housing and other public services to the growing population has seen an increase in the construction industry. Where every hotel and motel room in the city is filled and there are no vacancies for anyone that is looking for work and a place to stay, the thriving Utah community has been hard at work building new communities and neighborhoods that can meet the needs of the expanding town.
Although there has always been some interest in the oil fields that are situated a few miles outside of the rural Utah community it has only been in the last few years that the Vernal Utah real estate market has been swelling to meet the demands for housing in the Uintah Basin. Taking into account that a full scale oil production operation has yet to be established, the companies that are staking a claim in the oil rich landscape of eastern Utah are counting on their surveyors and drilling teams to bring in the mother lode from the shale deposits that will be worth hundreds of millions of dollars in crude oil production.
With the mining and drilling operations coming on line there has been a great deal of interest sparked in Vernal’s local economy. Seeing the upswing in home sales and the development of new neighborhoods realtors have been keeping busy helping people in and around the city to buy and sell their property. For the farming community that has been the main industry in Vernal since its founding in the late 1800′s the news of oil in the vicinity has helped some farming families to sell off their land to developers and watch as the housing market has been steadily growing.
Transforming the face of the land and brining in new blood from all over the country the Vernal Utah real estate market continues to be a hotbed of activity as the promise of oil makes prospecting in the region a fair trade for anyone who is looking to strike it rich.
